Helping Hands’ prevention and diversion programs are dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of families and children by equipping them with long-term resources that empower them to achieve self-sufficient food security.

Case Management
Addressing Root Causes of Hunger: Case management connects clients with wraparound services in housing, workforce development, public benefits, education, and healthcare.

Daily Walk-In Pantry
Families can access our pantry several times per month and are distributed a variety of items based on family size and dietary needs.

Mobile Pantry
Each Friday, we distribute boxes filled with fresh produce or available donations to underserved area. Distribution locations include our Rockford St location, Low Gap, Flat Rock, and Dobson.

Nourishing
Pantry produce gardens supplying clients with fresh food, equipping food-insecure families to install gardens at home, and a nutritional education & meal preparation course designed for the prevention and management of diet-related illness.
